Over the years, the university has become an example for other educational institutions by virtue of our flexibility and innovation. Rather than tread the tried and tested path, our curriculum and programs reflect the needs and challenges of the globalized world of the twenty-first century. Our programs and courses are developed after thorough research on the educational programs of leading international universities. At the same time, we believe that education has a practical role to fulfill, particularly in the present economic and social context of the country. Hence, local needs and opportunities are given equal consideration in developing our programs and teaching methodologies.
At Sharda University, we follow a learner-centered approach to education. The twenty-first century places a premium on collaboration and penalizes rigidity. Keeping this in view, we provide an environment in which individual personalities of our students can be nurtured so that each individual becomes capable of making a positive contribution to the society. We also aim to develop the competitive spirit within our students. To keep students and faculty members abreast with the latest developments taking place in the professional fields we aggressively pursue the development of linkages between researchers and professionals in the field.
